If you have visited Russia before, some of these cities can be your memory. If you are planning to visit Russia, you
must visit Zagorsk (#10) (After collapse of the USSR it got its original name Sergiev Posad). This city is the center
of Russian Orthodox Church. It has beautiful one of a kind Church architecture. You need one day from Moscow.
Russian nesting dolls came from this region in XVII century and vendors will attack you by offering nesting dolls. If
you don’t speak Russian don’t buy, their prices will be much higher than I’m selling. (Sorry for this advertises, but
this is true).
Second choice is Vladimir (6) and Suzdal (5). It takes 2 –3 days with overnight in these cities. Six hours by train to
Vladimir and short travel by bus to Suzdal. But it is worth. You will not find place like this in whole world.
